Our services

  • Post-Surgical Care provides personalized rehabilitation for dogs recovering from orthopedic and neurological surgeries—including TPLO, FHO, MPL, TPO, and Hemilaminectomy—to promote healing, restore mobility, and improve overall quality of life.

  • Our non-surgical IVDD care focuses on gentle, targeted therapies to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support spinal healing for dogs diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease.

  • The Underwater Treadmill provides buoyancy to support the body which allows less stress on the joints, improved circulation, decreased pain and swelling, all within a therapeutic temperature, per the APTA.

  • Works at the cellular level to increase tensile strength for tissue repair, provide pain relief, resolve inflammation, and improve function of damaged neurological tissue. It also improves blood flow and fibroblast development for wound healing.

  • Therapeutic Exercises are customized, goal-oriented movements designed to improve strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility in dogs recovering from injury, surgery, or managing mobility issues.

  • Wound Care provides faster healing, reduces risk of infection and decreases pain and discomfort, utilizing advanced wound care products and dressings, including biologics.

  • FCE-Stroke Rehab offers targeted neurological rehabilitation for dogs recovering from Fibrocartilaginous Embolism (FCE), focusing on restoring mobility, coordination, and strength through customized physical therapy.

  • Generalized Weakness Therapy provides tailored exercise and therapeutic interventions to help dogs regain strength, improve stamina, and enhance overall mobility caused by age, illness, or inactivity.

  • Weight Loss and Conditioning Treatments combine customized exercise plans and nutritional guidance to help dogs safely reduce excess weight, build muscle, and improve overall fitness and health.

  • Therapeutic Ultrasound utilizes a quartz crystal vibrating at a very high frequency to treat soft tissue injuries, reduce pain, improve circulation, and promote healing through thermal and non-thermal effects.

  • Uses two main forms, TENS and NMES. TENS assists for pain management and NMES are longer, stronger waveforms that can stimulate motor nerves to provide muscular contractions. NMES is utilized for dogs who present with motor weakness either post-surgical or from progressive disease process.

  • Active compression and cold exchange help patients reduce pain and inflammation, to allow a quicker overall recovery.

  • Proprioceptive Training offers improved joint stability, body awareness in space, reduces injury risk, and enhances balance and coordination.

  • Following back surgery, Duffy was given a 40% chance of ever walking again.  We are so thankful that we were referred to Georgia Bottoms for physical therapy! She started treatment on him as soon as possible after the surgery.  Duffy showed immediate improvements with his motor skills and strength recovery.  He was walking on his own in less than 6 weeks and now has regained approximately 90% of his motor skills! Duffy loved Georgia from day 1.  We give her early treatment a lot of credit to having Duffy back to an independent life.
